South Miami – On The Rise

I live in South Miami, and it’s incredible to see how many luxury single family home projects are on the rise in my neighborhood. What drew me to South Miami is the ability to live within walking distance to amenities offered in the downtown South Miami area – such as bars, restaurants, coffee shops, Shops at Sunset Place, Whole Foods, etc. Downtown South Miami has a quaint, small-town feel, and it is also proximate to public transportation. With traffic as bad as it is, it’s nice to have the option to walk to the South Miami Metro-Rail Station, and be in Brickell in 15 minutes. This is what I find buyers wanting – proximity to a more urban, high walk-score lifestyle, yet in a single-family residence with ample lot size. Coconut Grove offers proximity to the water and its own downtown, but lot sizes in Coconut Grove are not as generous.
